Silent Partners
Providing "silent", annual support to an elementary school in Anacostia
Annually we raise money to help purchase equipment and educational materials at the Neval Thomas Elementary School in Anacostia. Donations also support the Success for All and the Reading Is Fundamental programs, Family Fun Day, and curriculum-related trips to the Science Museum, as well as the services of two tutors for 20 children.
Donations in multiples of "chai" ($18, "life" in Hebrew) are appreciated. Please make checks payable to "Temple Micah" with notation of "Silent Partners" on the memo line.
